Speaking

March 2024. My alma mater asked me to share a bit about my journey and the importance and impact of the social work value of integrity. It was an honor to be considered for this opportunity. Happy to have been able to share. Hopeful that it’s helpful.

In February 2022, I was a guest on The Snazzy Lifestyle podcast, where I spoke about therapy for Black and Brown folks. I’m on around the 16-minute mark.

Something like an origin story. A young me. In 2013, I was granted the honor of giving the graduation speech at my social work school graduation. I’ve been striving to follow that advice I gave my classmates:

  1. Keep learning - about myself and people

  2. Be great - good isn’t good enough

  3. Believe in and fight for social justice

Facilitation and Presentation

During my time with the Mayor’s Office of Community Mental Health, I facilitated many virtual events, training presentations, and webinars. You can check out some examples of me in action by visiting the Thrive in Your Workplace page and navigating to resources and webinars. I’ve placed a few examples below as well.
