You’ve got questions. I’ve got answers.

  • How much does a session cost?

My fee starts at $150 per session. My fee represents what I need to cover operating costs (insurance, licensing, technology, marketing, continuing education, etc.). My goal is to be accessible (which I feel this fee is), but I also have to be sustainable to provide that access. As part of that accessibility, I offer reduced pricing based on need (more about that in the following FAQ). If you can pay my full fee, you're not only supporting me but also supporting those who are receiving services via reduced pricing.

  • Do you offer reduced pricing?

Yes, I hold a portion of my available slots for reduced pricing based on need. If you feel you can't pay the full rate, we can talk through what might work for both of us during our consultation.

I currently do not have any reduced price availability. If you need a reduced fee, please check out Open Path Collective.

Black men seeking support can also check out Black Men Heal, which offers 8 free sessions.

  • How do I pay?

I am not in-network with insurance providers, so payments would be out of pocket. Secure payments are accepted via Stripe using Debit/Credit Cards.

If you have and decide to use out-of-network benefits via your insurance provider, I can provide you with a "Superbill."

You can possibly use FSA and HSA to pay. Check with your insurance provider.

  • What are sessions like?

My sessions are 45-50 minutes. Of course, some sessions may run over a bit, but we’ll mostly adhere to time. After each session, I need to write up my notes and prep ahead of my next session.

I‘ll provide a safe space for you to be yourself and express your feelings and thoughts. I’m interactive, no blank slate here. I’m going to push you a bit with my questions and I’m going to share my experience and thoughts if I feel it’s helpful for your growth and healing. I’m also open to your questions and feedback. It’s a collaborative relationship, not one-sided.

  • What if we don’t match?

Not possible, lol. Just kidding. It is possible that we don’t match or that I don’t meet your needs. I won’t take it personally. I will point you to some resources (many of which are in the read section) to help you find someone who hopefully matches your needs and wants.

I’m also available via the Therapist Finder Service to find some options that might match.

  • When do you see clients?

My primary availability is Monday - Thursday in the early evenings and some weekend mornings. During our consultation, we can discuss options and what might work for you.
